ACLU to Flint cops: Butt out

The people of Flint who wear their pants in the hip-hop sagging fashion should not have to pull up their shorts or pants to stay out of jail, avoid being ticketed or searched, according to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Michigan.

The ACLU has recently chastised Interim Police Chief David Dicks on his sagging pants law raising Constitutional violation issues, and promising to back up legally anyone who is ticketed, arrested or unlawfully searched due to this law.

The crime is considered disorderly conduct or indecent exposure, both misdemeanors punishable by 93 days to a year in jail and/or fines up to $500.
